Dear Parents and middle/high school students,
The first day of school is Tuesday, September 8th. While we are excited to finally get school up and running, we also realize that there might be some confusion as to how to initially get started or what to do first.
It is important that every student logs in to Google Classroom ahead of September 8. Each student has been automatically added to the Google Classroom for each course, based on his/her schedule. The easiest way to do this is to log in to Google and click on the Google Classroom icon in the waffle. Please take a moment to watch the attached video with instructions to help your student access their classes on the first day of school.
Again, welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. We are grateful that you are a student in the Hermiston School District and we are looking forward to Day 1. More importantly, we’re looking forward to the day that we can hold school in person.
