Hermiston High School Athletics Launches Unified Basketball Team to Promote Inclusion
Hermiston High School proudly announces the launch of its Unified Basketball team, an inclusive program in partnership with Special Olympics Oregon. This initiative unites students with and without intellectual disabilities to train, compete, and promote acceptance and respect through sports. The team will host three home games this winter, in the main gym, featuring the same excitement as varsity basketball events. Admission is free, inviting the entire community to celebrate inclusion and support these incredible athletes.
